LG Launches Entry-level Mobile Phone

LG Electronics India has launched a new entry-level phone – the LG KP106B.


This candy bar phone features a 1.5-inch LCD screen and 65k display with a 128x128 pixel resolution. It measures 123x115x64 mm, weighs 63 gms and comes in glossy black with a 4 way metallic navigation key, 16 polyphonic ringtones and one touch FM key.

The phone supports both English and Hindi keypads and has embedded in it LG's anti-theft mobile tracker, through which one can track their stolen mobile phones, as soon as another SIM card is inserted.

The LG KP106B has a built-in handsfree and features FM (on speakerphone as well), world clock, multiple alarm, calculator, stopwatch, unit converter and allows storage of up to 300 phone numbers and 100 SMS messages.

The LG KP106B is available in the market for Rs. 2000.
